Stephanie McCormick

Coach Mac is finishing her third season as an assistant coach at NC State after spending the last five seasons at Western Carolina.
She serves as the recruiting coordinator for the program as well as opponent scouting and team academics. She also focuses on the development of the Wolfpack post players, which were her duties at Western Carolina and with the Georgia Tech women's basketball program.

While at Western Carolina, McCormick helped recruit and coach five all-conference players, four all-freshmen selections and a Freshman of the Year honoree.

Prior to her one season at Georgia Tech, she served as an assistant coach at Charlotte, working with the 49er's post players and assisting with recruiting, team travel and scouting. In 2003, she helped lead the team to the Conference USA regular season title and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. She helped bring in a recruiting class that ranked in the Top-25 nationally. Three of her players were named to the Conference USA All-freshman team, two of which McCormick worked with in the post.
Before joining the staff at Charlotte, McCormick was the associate head coach at UNC Wilmington from 1999-2001, after being an assistant coach with the program in 1998. During the 2000 campaign, she helped lead the Seahawks to an 18-12 record, the most wins for the program since 1988. She also recruited a pair of CAA All-Conference performers while at UNCW.
